PRIMARY BED & BATH COMPLETE MAKEOVER :: BOULDER

Prior, the small and cramped bathroom and closet are separated into three different rooms; the single sink vanity which is an open extension to the bedroom (really not good), the toilet and tub, and then the closet accessed directly from the bathroom but, without a connection to the bathroom. Moving the entryway to the walk-in closet from the bedroom to the bathroom not only accomplished creating a seamless bathing and dressing routine but also allowed the furniture to be placed symmetrically within the room creating a harmonious and peaceful balance. A deep moody blue-gray accent wall helps visually quiet the room and ties into the ensuite bathroom.

The bathroom, although small in footprint, feels much larger with the curbless shower surrounded in mostly glass providing expansive views of the mountains beyond while still fitting in a double vanity. Narrow custom tall cabinets flank each side of the vanity with electrical outlets hidden inside so toothbrushes, hairdryers, and other health and beauty items can be stored away yet easily accessible without the need to plug and unplug. Happily, one can go into the bathroom and shut the door and be able to shower and dress without disturbing a possibly sleeping spouse.
