NEW BUTLER’S PANTRY/MUDROOM IN BOULDER

Simple, functional, beautiful, and not to forget the hardest working room in the house the NEW BUTLER’S PANTRY/MUDROOM IN BOULDER project had a thorough wish list during the design process. Designing this Butler’s Pantry/Mudroom involved combining functionality with aesthetic appeal. Here are some design elements we incorporated to create a stylish and practical space;

Mudroom Bench and Storage Elegance: The team designed a custom mudroom bench that not only serves its practical purpose but also adds a touch of elegance to the room with its interesting knurled brass hardware. It includes storage for shoes, bags, and outdoor gear, keeping the space organized and clutter-free.

DeVol-Inspired Brass Rod for Herb and Flower Drying: Drawing inspiration from DeVol’s designs by incorporating a brass rod for drying flowers and herbs, this not only adds a stylish element but also serves a functional purpose for those who share a love for gardening and herb preservation.

Pantry Storage with a Personal Touch: We optimized pantry storage to accommodate various needs, from a coffee and tea bar to providing dedicated spaces for unique finds like foraged mushrooms, oversized kitchen equipment, a coat closet, and adjustable shelving to adapt to changing storage requirements.

The Butler’s Pantry/Mudroom maximizes it all in under 75 square feet with glass front cabinetry up top that adds a touch of lightness to the narrow space and a very happy light fixture makes the owners smile every time they turn it on.
